Business Experience

Vivek is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of experience in insurance, services, and management consulting. He has a proven track record of developing growth and leading joint ventures for smaller multinational companies, as well as serving in senior positions at multinational corporations such as Allianz and Generali in India.

Vivek's impressive professional background includes serving as a board member (Director) of both Assurant entities in India, as well as other organizations. He is also an active investor in start-up companies in the field of payment services, insurtech, and fintech.

Since May 2020, Vivek has been the Founder and Managing Director of Mavi Holding. Prior to this, he served as Director South Asia at Assurant from 2018 to 2020, and as Director South Asia at The Warranty Group from 2015 to 2018. He was also Head of Strategic Initiatives at TVS & The Warranty Group JV from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to his corporate experience, Vivek has also served as an investor and director at Zip Cash from 2008 to 2015. He has held senior leadership roles at Europ Assistance India as Senior Director from 2009 to 2011, and as CEO of APAC Assist from 2008 to 2009. Vivek's extensive experience also includes serving as CEO of Coris India from 2003 to 2008, and various positions at Bajaj Allianz from 2001 to 2003.
